Our 2013 Art Camp has given us many gifts:
– Mission and Purpose
– Spiritual Growth and Personal Development
– Unity & Cooperation
– Over 100 children each day to love and many families in the community to build relationships with.
– Beautiful creations from these children
I believe the best gift we were given, was a reminder. A reminder that the presence of God is in us! The presence of God is not just available when we are together on Sunday morning; but is available when we come together, to pray, to plan, to purpose in our hearts that Art Camp 2013 would be a place for children to encounter the Truth of God. That they would be able to create a life in Jesus name. The presence of God was in the games, the stories, the art, the songs, the laughter, the tears, and even the snacks.
If you were here during the week or only on Wednesday night; you know that the presence of God was real. Especially when we got to see the light in the eyes of the children presenting there songs to us. “When I grow up, what will I be? I may be a fireman. A fireman who loves Jesus!”
A seed planted in the lives of children and a watering of the seed in us. Thank you God for “The Reminder.”
Thank you again to all who attended and all who volunteered.

Thank you! My daughter is Avary Beth – she had a wonderful time and is looking forward to tomorrow! She won’t make it Wednesday as we are going out if town but she has talked non-stop about art camp! Thank you to you and your awesome team of helpers!
Thank you , Emma loves Art camp. Great church too, not the building, but you the people. How do you get so many people to volunteer to do all this? Never mind, God is in it. Which proves He’s in your assembly. God bless you & your church. Maybe I can get you all to do this where I minister? At the prison in Malvern! OKay, I’m joking, but we have fun there. Hey, by the way, you all can help. We need packaged cookies for our Kairos Prison Ministry, if you all would like a part in reach prisoners for Jesus.
Brevin loved it! He said he has to come back tomorrow! – Sent from Kristal’s iPad
My daughter loved the first day of art camp and had a lot of fun. She was telling me about something happening Wednesday night but didn’t know what time, etc. Can you give me the details like what time and how long it will last, etc.? She is supposed to leave Wednesday after art camp to go home with her grandparents and they live 2 hours away. If it’s too late or lasts too long she won’t be able to make it. Thanks, Leanne Vinson – mom to Caley Vinson
Please tell your volunteers that my daughter Zuzu loved her week at Art Camp. Thank you ever so much for all your time, talents and efforts you have to make this such a fun event for her!
